Heidi --
your pages are simply a visitor's delight! Your work, both in design
and in written summary, shows such tremendous depth of understanding
of the concepts of User Interface Design! You came into this with
such a gift for visual, and a great understanding of previous
coursework and the building of pages ... but your growth in the area
of understanding the user, and the visual and conceptual techniques
for really reaching and aiding the visitor ... is tremendous! My
favorite part ... although it all is of a quite high level ... is
the delightful Nav bar you've created. Not only could this be taken
to such a fun level of creativity and interactivity .. but it is a
very brave and unique look and feel. You've left white space that
could incorporate very inventive popup menus, from these images. I
had to laugh ... your "Our Rooms" button, and it's a beach
umbrella! Ah, to sleep on the beach on a foreign shore, with NO PC
hookup, for just one week! As usual, your visuals are impeccable.
The other outstanding feature was the inclusion of the very strong
golden glow of the sunset over the water -- it's a very alluring
image for your pages. Wonderful use of company colors, logo, and
required tools! Great job!!
