After previewing this hard-copy package, and also spending time within the
interactive program on the Internet, I am certain you will agree that this
production will play a vital part in your outreach program for volunteers
and monetary donors. It also serves as an example of the upcoming extended
educational programming for the Internet that your company will be producing
in conjunction with the Sparkman Center and TCI.
The production of this program has gone extremely well, and the upcoming
presentation for corporate, educational and political leaders will provide
the Society for Prevention of Child Abuse, as well as myself and my
interactive, instructional design company, much-needed feedback in the
overall effectiveness of electronic outreach programming. As head of
BoydZoo, I am extremely excited and optimistic about the far-reaching
possibilities of this medium.
It has been meaningful to work with the children served by your company,
and to realize that this electronic medium can reach many of these hurting
children, when other avenues have failed. It has been gratifying to watch
young lives unfold as they start to respond to caring attitudes built into
your programs. The sad fact that they've been unable to respond to human
interaction in the same way, is brightened by the aspect that these programs
perhaps will open the door for that healing. I am honored to have been a
part of this development.
As for the interactive, training-like perspective of this particular
presentation, I am certain that your goals, primary objectives, and caring
attitude will also project to the audience of November 25, 1996. We are soon
to see firsthand, the effectiveness of such a program.
Additionally, the individual groups meeting after the initial presentation
will be able to study the sections of the presentation in more depth. By
breaking the groups into sections of similar interest, and providing group-
leaders specifically trained in dealing with volunteer efforts, I am certain
that this method of presentation will be well-received.
Finally, the fact that you decided to also provide the program in form of a
website, with easy access on the Internet, will bring untold numbers of
appropriate "visitor" to your very door. In addition, by providing the
program on CD-ROM, you will be able to respond to corporate requests for
showing your company internally, without the necessity of setting up a
formal presentation. It is my sincere hope that this method of delivery will
bring you the highest quality return of response for the least expense.
As this first year of the volunteer outreach program ensues, it will be
both interesting and gratifying to chart the results of all of our efforts.
I look forward to working with you again as the Educational Program at the
Sparkman Center begins in January.
These interactive, Web-based educational software hold great promise for
the children that your company sponsors. The method of presentation, which
of course is world-wide, will present your worthy goals to millions. In
return, your needs will be broadcast to the most elite and technologically-
savvy group in the world.
With great anticipation, I am awaiting the day of presentation, and also the
review meeting set for December 13, 1996. The very first responses to the
presentation, the CD-ROM distribution, and the first two weeks of the
website, will be interesting!
Sincerely,
Leanne C. Boyd
